SNOWFLAKE PATTERN ACTIVITIES

LARGE SNOWFLAKES
Using the large snowflake pattern, cut out 2-3 snowflakes for your child.
Next, fold the snowflake in half, and then into thirds.
Give your child the now folded triangle shape and show him how to cut triangles along the folded edges with scissors.
These look great taped to the window.

GLITTER SNOWFLAKES
Using the large snowflake pattern, cut out several large snowflakes from heavy white paper.
Next, have your child cover the snowflake by brushing on glue.
Now have her sprinkle on some white glitter.
These look great with glitter on both sides and hung from the ceiling.

FELT BOARD SNOWFLAKES
Using the medium pattern, cut out 5 white felt snowflakes.
Place them on a felt board.
Use the felt board as you and your children sing "Snowflake" songs or when you read the story "Snowflakes Falling Down" at the Story Station.

SNOWFLAKE TREE
Using the small pattern, cut out 5-8 small felt or paper snowflakes.
Let your child brush them with glue and sprinkle with white glitter.
Punch a small hole in the top and thread with a thin piece of ribbon or yarn.
Hang the snowflakes on a small tree or branch.

FALLING SNOWFLAKES
Using the small pattern, cut out 5-8 small felt or paper snowflakes.
Let your child brush them with glue and sprinkle with white glitter.
Tape each one to a piece of white ribbon and hang them from the ceiling or in a doorway.
