BIRD ACTIVITIES

continued...

TWO LITTLE BLACK BIRDS
  • Using the small patterns, cut out two black birds for each of your children.
  • Next, give each of your children two strips of black paper ¾" x 2 ½".
  • Have your children glue a bird in the middle of each strip.
  • Then help your children tape the two ends together to fit around their fingers.
  • Teach your children the rhyme "Two Little Black Birds". Have them put one bird on a finger of each hand. Then have them fly their birds off behind their backs as you all recite the poem.
