a boy, and a farmer.
You can extend this story for your child by choosing one
or more of the extension activities below.
- Make felt cutouts of the story characters for your child
to use on a felt board to retell the story.
- Have your child act out the story using play figures for
the animals.
- Make story cards with the main character in each stanza.
Have your child put the cards in the proper order of what
happens first, second, etc.
- Sing this story to the tune of "Here We Go 'Round
