The Crayon Kids rode into town
And saw a sad, sad sight.
Everything in the town
Was colored the color of white.

This will not do, they both agreed,
Towns should be bright and gay.
So they took out their crayons, markers and pens
And started to color away.

Red shops and green shops,
Yellow shops, too.
Orange shops, purple shops,
Shops colored blue.

Cars red and green
Signs blue and white.
Now the town
Was quite a delight.

The Crayon Kids
Had made everything bright.
So, everyone cheered
As they rode out of sight!
