BUG RHYMES

BUGS ALL AROUND

Bugs on the ground.
Bugs on the grass.
Bugs all around.

Bugs on the sidewalk.
Bugs on the tree.
Bugs on the porch.
Bugs on me.

THERE’S A BUG ON ME
There’s a bug on me, there’s a bug on me.

PRETTY LITTLE BUTTERFLY
Pretty little butterfly
Flying ‘round and ‘round.
First you fly up,
Then you fly down.

Pretty little butterfly
Flying ‘round and ‘round,
Kissing all the flowers,
Growing on the ground.

BUTTERFLY, BUTTERFLY

Butterfly, butterfly flying around,
Butterfly, butterfly touching the ground.
Butterfly, butterfly reaching up high,
Butterfly, butterfly touching the sky.

HERE COMES A BUNNY

Here comes a bunny with ears so funny.
Watch them flop, flop, flop.
Here comes a bunny with feet so funny.
Watch him hop, hop, hop.

THREE LITTLE BUNNIES
Hippity Hop, Hippity Hop,
Three little bunnies at play.
Hippity Hop, Hippity Hop,
See them hop away.

SEE THE EASTER BUNNY

See the Easter Bunny
Hopping all around.
Hiding Easter Eggs,
Out upon the ground.
When the children wake up,
They’ll run outside to see
All the pretty Easter Eggs,
How happy they will be!
                                Jean Warren
Have one child take a basket of plastic eggs and set out some on the ground, as everyone else pretends to sleep.  Then have the children wake up and each go out to find an egg and place it in the basket that has been left on the ground.  Repeat with another Easter bunny, setting out the eggs while the others sleep.  Be sure to have enough eggs in the basket so everyone gets to find an egg.

I SAW AN EASTER BUNNY

I saw an Easter Bunny
Hopping through the grass.
But when he saw me,
He ran away fast!
