PUMPKIN CROWNS

Give your child a pumpkin cut out, approximately 4 inches square. |
|
Have her decorate her pumpkin with stickers, glitter, or sponge paint. |
|
When dry, help her attach her pumpkin to the center of a 1 ½ x 12 paper strip. |
|
Wrap crown around child's head and secure in back with glue or tape. |
Variation: Cut out a 3 x 18 yellow strip of paper and let your child glue on 3-5 small 1 pumpkin cutouts. Secure as headband.

| DOBBER PUMPKINS
|
|
Give your child a white 5 square pumpkin shape and an orange paint dobber. Like a Bingo dobber but one from an art store, formulated for children. |
|
Have your child dob orange paint all over his pumpkin. |
| PUMPKIN PUPPETS |
|
Cut out 5 pumpkin shapes from heavy orange paper. |
|
Help your child glue or draw on black facial features. |
|
Let your child help you tape a large craft stick on the lower backside of her pumpkin. |
|
Encourage your child to use her puppet when telling puppet stories or singing puppet songs. |
