BABY DAY
Plan a special baby day. Have your children bring their favorite baby doll to school. Here are some fun baby day activities.
|
|
BABY CIRCLE
Have children sit in a circle on the floor holding their baby dolls.
|
BABY DANCING - Play some dance music and have children hold their dolls up and move them to the music. |
|
BODY PARTS – As the children hold their babies, ask them to point to various body parts on their babies. Such as, point to babies head, point to babies tummy. |
 |
GROUP CIRCLE – Have children stand and have everyone hold hands with dolls between children. Form one big circle and all move towards the middle and then back out again. Have children lift their hands up, thereby raising the babies up high. |

BABY SONGS – Sing some of the baby songs listed at the end of this article with your children and their dolls.

BABY NAPS
|
BABY BAGS – Make a baby bag for each of your children. You will need a 12” x 36” piece of flannel for each child. Fold the flannel up 14” from the bottom and sew around the three double sides, then turn inside-out. These little pouches are easy for children to slip their babies in and out of. |
|
BABY NAPS - Have children tuck their babies into their sleeping bags and lay them down for a nap. |
|
BABY SONGS - Have children sing or hum soft baby lullaby’s to their babies. |
|
|
BABY SNACKS
|
BABY BIBS – Make some simple baby bibs for your children’s dolls. Have them attach with Velcro on the ends. Let children choose a bib for their doll. |
|
BABY SNACKS – Have your children sit at a table with their dolls and pretend to feed them a baby snack. Serve juice in baby bottles and a small bowl of Cheerios. Have children pretend to serve their dolls, then eat or drink the snack themselves. |

|
OUTDOOR BABY RIDES
Take your children and their babies outside and let them enjoy one or more of the suggested rides below.
|
WAGON RIDES – Set out a few small wagons and let your children take turns taking their babies for wagon rides. |
 |
SLIDE RIDES – Set up a small slide for your children to use to give their dolls a slide ride. |
|
DOLL SWINGS – Let children hold their dolls as they go for a ride on a swing. Or devise a small doll swing; such as a box hung down from the limb of a tree. |
|
